As is true of most gamers, I spend many, many hours assembling and painting miniatures. Yet storage and transport just did not match that time and energy invested. I was transporting them in boxes encased in bubble wrap. While surprisingly few of my miniatures got damaged this way, it meant that (1) a lot of time was spend packaging and unpackaging my miniatures and (2) my miniatures spent their lives sealed away.
The Tablewar case fixes both of those issues. My miniatures are now easy to transport, take out for gaming, and otherwise live in an attractive case that are great for display but can also be tucked away in the corner as needed.
To be sure, these things are expensive. But I do think the price is reasonable for the value of the product. And why spend so much money and time on miniatures and there assembly only to cut significant corners on their storage and display? Overall, very pleased. So much so that I ordered three of the big cases.
Best transport case I’ve ever owned. I bought 2!

This case works very well for basic travel in a car to events. Magnetizing the army is just a very good way to easily move with out all the annoying foam. Highly recommended.
The only miniature transport worth buying

If you are like me, and have had foam lined miniature transports all of your gaming years (20+ for me) the idea of a non-foam transport is very appealing. The foam is build, it catches delicate parts of a miniature and frequently breaks it, its time consuming to pack and unpack. The TableWar case is genius. Using metal based and magnets within the miniature base, you can fit so many more miniature into a smaller foot print. Also packing and unpacking is a breeze. Finally, and my favorite part - you can actually SEE you miniatures on display within the case while not in use. If you are serious about your minis, this is the transport you want to use.

The case is very durable and the ability to customize it is incredible. Being able to buy extra trays and inserts literally means you don't even have to remove your models from the trays you could just get extras and have every model on its own tray, based like your models. I love this case.
The cas eis cool when you get all your parts.

I have a case and have had it for two weeks. Due to my other parts of the order not coming in I've been unable to use this case at all for my army. Now that my diorama pieces came in... I still can't use it because the diorama base isn't magnetic.
could use something

I really like it however I tried it with the single space trays and realized I was losing valuable space so you're better off with putting down some sheet metal in the shelves or they could just sell it since this is like three single trays worth or have a triple option. As for the case itself once fixed up properly w/ the metal sheet, all the models have magnets, etc... it is perfect.

This product is one of a kind if you are looking to transport a fragile army without risk of breakage. Wasn't avaliable in the UK, but managed to pick one up on a trip to the US - was almost worth making the trip specially.
lets clarify a bit!

the acrylic cover is nice, but loose, and rattles a bit. the case is a monster, and is nearly the size of my computer case! It does NOT come with metal trays, and the plastic "display trays " ones that it does come with have wieght saving holes...so you cant use them until you get the metal ones. the buckles are very nice, and watch the door. it detaches after about 90 degrees of opening.
